Starting his career at Fonterra then moving into roles in the technology and investment sectors, Alex always wanted to make a significant contribution in the food industry. At Andfoods, he channels his broad experience into pioneering sustainable, plant-based dairy alternatives alongside a talented team of New Zealand's top food scientists, crafting foodservice and ingredient formats that set new standards in the plant-based segment.

Arup is known for his expertise and contributions to food technology. Born and raised in India, he pursued his passion for dairy science before earning postgraduate and Ph.D. degrees in food technology from Massey University. His career spans project management, research and innovation, with several of his brainchild projects successfully commercialised across the food industry.

Rex plays a key role in translating our scientific breakthroughs into scalable, market-ready products for a sustainable future.

Leon is Chair of the board and a key advisor to the Andfoods mission. He brings deep experience from leading dairy businesses in Asia and New Zealand, including Managing Director of Fonterra Brands New Zealand and CEO of Synlait, and sits on the boards of Daisy Lab, Raglan Food Co, Tasman Bay Foods and Nui Markets.
